Dr. Lisa LaGeorge of The Master’s College stopped in to talk with us about contentment on today’s podcast. Lisa shares her love of cross-cultural ministry and students, and her joyful contentment with singleness as God’s current plan for her life. Listen as Lisa encourages every Christian to serve the Lord faithfully and passionately in whatever circumstances He has ordained for us.
About Lisa
Prior to coming to The Master’s College in 1998, Lisa spent five years involved in cross-cultural youth ministry in Alaska.  She has traveled in over 45 countries to encourage cross-cultural workers, provide teacher training workshops, and supervise student teachers.  In addition to teaching in the area of ESL and Global Studies, Lisa administers and trains cross-cultural vocational student trips.  She also provides leadership to TMC’s communities of International students, Military Students, and Multicultural Students. In addition to teaching the Bible, her research and speaking include the topics of short-term missions, cross-cultural teaching methodologies, missionary biographies, and Third Culture Kid transitions. Dr. La George serves on the Board of The Elisha Foundation that provides retreats, respite training, and outreach with churches into communities of disability.  She is rarely without a book, loves to cook, and enjoys opening her home for global gatherings.
