Thank you for the responses by so many of you about the English version of The Stone and the Glory of Israel. When I get a release date for the book, we’ll gladly let you know. Often times I have found with publishers “that no one knows the day or the hour” when this will occur ☺. Hopefully we will have a cover before too much longer, and I’ll see about posting some or all of the first chapter or two of it once we get the print format sent to us.
Last week I received one more very rich blessing from My Missionary Friend. God used him as our front man, and I am blessed beyond words that God has already raised up a Hebrew translation for this book in Israel. The publisher is appropriately called HaGefen (Hebrew for “The Vine”). Here is the weblink: http://www.ha-gefen.org.il/len/. So the Hebrew version of The Stone and the Glory of Israel is due for release somewhere around the summer of 2016.
I know My Missionary Friend, because of his godliness, if I brought up how thankful I am that “God dropped him in my lap,” and how God has already so greatly used him in my life, would most likely respond: “I planted, Apollos watered, but God was causing the growth. So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but God who causes the growth” (1 Cor. 3:6–7). May that be the case with the Hebrew version of The Stone and the Glory of Israel—and may many of the Jewish people receive the promised—and only—and soon coming Savior and Lord.
